TAKE YOUR GAME TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL WITH SOME OF THE TOP COACHES IN THE REGION. LEARN TO PLAY BALL THE RIGHT WAY WITH FORMER MINOR LEAGUE AND UNIVERSITY COACHES IN THE BNZ SUMMER CAMPS! 

Learn the fundamentals in baseball from the region and nation’s top coaches. Each week will include specific skill lessons, including a special focus on pitching in Week 2’s sessions and hitting during Week 4. Each day will cover fundamentals that every baseball player needs to take his or her game to the next level, and learn from coaches who have played and coached on some of the most important baseball diamonds across the world.

Week 1: Mon 04 January – Fri 08 January Auckland

Week 2: Mon 11 January – Fri 15 January Auckland

Week 3: Mon 18 January – Fri 22 January Auckland

Week 4: Mon 25 January – Fri 29 January Auckland

Timing for Age Groups:

9 to12 years 10am till 1pm daily

13 to18 years 2pm till 6pm daily

Clinic Locations:

AUCKLAND    Lloyd Elsmore Fields, off Cascades Road, Pakuranga.

Clinic Instructors: 

Ray Brown, Oceania Regional Officer/ex-Kansas City Royals minor league pitcher.

Chamara Jayasekera, Baseball NZ Development Officer.

Also, special guest instructors will appear each day, including Baseball New Zealand national team coaches and Level 1 coaches from across the nation.

Remember:

Players MUST attend in full baseball attire: baseball pants, belt, cap, cleats (& running shoes) and protective (groin) cup. Catchers may bring their own gear. Please throw in a windbreaker/jacket/fleece, in case of wet/windy conditions.  Bring a drink & sunscreen as well.

Cost:

$75 per athlete per week if paid by Jan. 1, 2010. $85 per athlete after Jan. 1, 2010.
$265 for all 4 weeks if paid on or before Jan. 1, and $285 if payment is received after Jan. 1, 2010.
