Support Our Nation's Best Under-14 Baseball Players

lumsdenBaseball New Zealand and The Lumsden in Newmarket are inviting all baseball fans in the Auckland area to spend a few dollars (CASH ONLY) on food and drinks and support the Under-14 team on their upcoming trip to Australia later this month.

On Sunday, 12 September, Baseball New Zealand and the nation's baseball community will celebrate and recognise the Under-14 National Baseball Team for an afternoon of good food and drink (CASH ONLY) at The Lumsden on Khyber Pass Road in Newmarket beginning at 12 noon.

The Lumsden's owner, Evan King, has offered to assist with fundraising once again at the Lumsden and in the park known as Lumsden Green on the corner of Khyber Pass Road and Broadway. In the September/October school holidays, Performance Baseball run by Scott and Aaron Campbell will be hosting a Spring Training Camp. Also attending is Howie Clark, with over 30 years of baseball experience including parts of 6 years in the Major Leagues.

The goal is to prepare players for the upcoming season in a professional programme that will allow them to learn new skills and develop their current abilities. This is an amazing opportunity to be around the best coaching New Zealand has ever seen.

Information about the camp is available at: www.performancebaseball.co.nz
